Products are divided into two categories, one is pure mesh, which is generally used for the internal base material of grinding wheel, the other is non-woven composite mesh and black paper composite mesh, which is used for the external network of grinding wheel. The mesh has high tensile strength and is widely used as the reinforcing base material of resin bonding grinding wheel. The grinding wheel made of the base material has excellent heat resistance, high speed cutting performance and high structural strength. It is especially suitable for making export grinding wheels. Common specifications used for making grinding wheel mesh blank cloth are CNG5*5-260, CNG6*6-190, CNP8*8-260, CNP8*8-260, CNG14*14-85.
Comparison between C-glass & E-glass
1.E-glass has higher tensile strength than C-glass, better reinforcement for the grinding wheels.
2.E-glass has higher Elongation, it will help to reduce the glass fiber abrasive cutting ratio during the forming process of the grinding wheels when it in a high stress.
3.E-glass has higher volume density, around 3% volume smaller in the same weight, increase the abrasive dosage and improve the grinding efficiency & result of grinding wheels.
4.E-glass has better properties on humidity resistance, water resistance & aging resistance, strength the weather ability of fiberglass discs & extend the guarantee period of the grinding wheel.
