Direct Roving for Pultrusion /for filament winding

Direct roving, known as single-end roving, is made by gathering hundreds or thousands of continuous glass filaments directly from the bushing (the manufacturing unit) and winding them into a cylindrical package. The most common tex values for pultrusion are 2400 tex, 4800 tex, and up to 9600 tex. A higher tex number means a thicker, heavier strand, which can be used to increase the fiber content and speed up production.
